Pieces of My Heart is my extended shrine to Axel and Roxas, from both the animanga and game adaptations. ♥ it's currently under quite a bit of construction since I'm working on another one first (so I don't let either die), but this is more likely to be here sooner than you think! It covers Roxas, Axel, and of course, their relationship together. One word of warning - I support the romance side here, so the site is yaoi friendly.

Why?! Where do I start.. hands down, I can say I really don't like yaoi. Now think about this again. To what lengths has this pairing gone for me to actually let me like it? Axel/Roxas has grown on me. At first, I just thought Axel was weird. In truth, I hated Roxas. But now, whenever either of them are on screen, in the manga, I'm smiling away to myself - they're both awesome. I think this pairing really didn't come to mind till after playing the game through. After that, it just kept on growing on me. Mostly, for the pure randomness in it - of Axel being a weird stalker and Roxas scared out of his wits. I loved that side of the pairing. It got me into it - and more so I've concidered the serious side. Axel really does love Roxas. He even admits it, well, as far as he's allowed to, being a Disney inclusive thing and all. So since then, I've loved it to pieces, crying over them and everything - in such a way that has not been seen since Tsubasa plot-shift. It's so darn sad, this pairing. There's nothing closer to canon. I love pairings for adversary, I'm so horrible. Anyways.. when I saw this fanlisting open for apps, I was so excited and spent ages debating on to apply or not. As you can probably tell, I'm glad I did. This is one of my big wishlisters, and sometimes I wonder how it got there. They just.. creaped up on me, and before I knew it, I was obsessed.hello. goodbye.
Due to this being one of my biggest all time wishlisters, I had the biggest nightmare trying to come up with a name for my darling. My first rule was not to take the shrine name - that is, Pieces of My Heart - and carry it over, so I sat down, listened to songs, purged my fangirlism till I came up with a list of titles. But even then, I came back to this one. This one has been in my head since the game one was up for application. It really fits the entire scenario. Axel, literally, comes to say 'hello' to Roxas and minutes later, he's all, 'sorry, but I have to kill you now. Goodbye'. It also relates with other aspects of their relationship quite well, or so I believe. There's a lot of 'hello' and 'goodbye' shared between the two of them, hence why 'goodbye''s first letter is a capital. It's important - their goodbye and seperation deepends their bond together, whether it be friends or romantically. Time seems to pass by like mere seconds when they're together, so the speech inbetween becomes slurred, which is another way why the title is the way it is. It's partially named after the band 'Hellogoodbye', since one of their songs, 'Here In Your Arms,' provides me with a good dosage of Axel/Roxas muse.thank yous
